Less than a quarter mile away from Richardson Beach Park sits King's Landing, a long stretch of tide pools, lagoons, white sand beaches, and rocky shore breaks that calm everything inland. But the unique combination of them all come together in a way that doesn't even feel like Hawaii. It feels more like something out of a story book, or maybe this is what it looked like where Tom Hanks took naps with Wilson.
I like coming out here every so often to take pictures at different times of the day, hoping to catch the tide at different points as well. It's extremely peaceful, the water is calm and mostly warm due to the shallow depth and slower rate of exchange. It's a little slice of heaven.
I've been wanting to take Sarah here for quite some time and this day's plans went down the drain so I convinced her to let me take her here. Glad to say she realized I was right about this lagoon and she wishes we went sooner.
